The EUROPEAN RESEARCH COUNCIL (ERC) actions continue under Horizon 2020, Pillar 1 "Excellent Science" for the period 2014-2020. Three types of grants are awarded: ERC Starting Independent Research Grants or ERC Advanced Investigator Grants, and demonstration grants (see EUROFUNDING sheets).
