The reform of the implementation of the rules on competition, decided in 2003, resulted in an increased application of the Community competition rules by national courts. The training of national judges aims therefore at providing them with assistance, as regards the exercise of their new powers. For all types of project, whether annual or multi annual, a maximum of 70% of the total amount of the grant provided for in the grant agreement may be paid by way of pre-financing, never more than 70 000 euro per financial year.
